  • Oklahoma never had tornados until Al Gore invented global warming. Seriously though,the "experts" always say "this is the worst year for severe storms since 1925". So what was the cause in 1925? Very few people had cars so likely their carbon footprint was much smaller.

  • If they had any control over the plane and could have gotten it to an unpopulated are you might have a point. However,it sounds like the pilot had no control of the jet which is very likely when on fire.

  • The Amtrak Southwest Chief already goes from LA to Needles,CA. Build a short line between Needles and Vegas. At $100.00 a ticket the high speed will never be paid for. I don't understand how people from one bankrupt city can save another. Vegas won't recover until the entire country does.
